Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods Boss Guide

Avoid the spiked front and lingering fire; pressure the rear and clear the one-time add wave.

Area: Glutted Mire. Order: Main boss 2 of 11.

Preparation

Burnt Effigy reduces the fire pressure; upgraded Lazlo can use his Burn resistance.

Boss strategy

1. Circle away from the spiked roller and attack the rear of the chair.
2. At half health, remove the finite group of small enemies before returning to Magdalena.
3. Leave the wasp cloud immediately and create distance for the tracking arm-cannon shot.

Common mistake

Standing in front of the chair or continuing to attack while fire and adds overlap.

Encounter facts

• Magdalena is fought at the end of Glutted Mire.
• Rear hits can create openings; at half health, clear the summoned small enemies before returning to the boss.
