Sir Isaac, the Scholar-Prince Boss Guide

Parry the readable sword phase, then switch to a safer Harden or distraction plan when the shield drops.

Area: Faded Citadel. Order: Main boss 7 of 11.

Preparation

Infinite Seal supports phase-one parries; Harden is more forgiving once the shield is gone.

Boss strategy

1. Parry the basic sword strings in phase one, but avoid hugging the shield where the fast bash is difficult to read.
2. After the shield drops, treat the double-hit strings as a new rhythm rather than reusing phase-one timing.
3. Tiel’s Shadow clones or Genessa’s Faithful Doubles can hold Isaac’s attention while you move behind him.

Common mistake

Assuming a visible parry in phase two always catches both hits of a paired strike.

• Sir Isaac is fought at the end of Faded Citadel.
• The second phase drops the shield and uses faster multi-hit sword strings that make blind parry repetition risky.
